Ice Plant Forts

I haven't been shooting too much film due to amount of time I've spent working on learning my T2i.
But it was nice to finish off a roll on our last trip up to Santa Barbara. The colors and lighting are really spectacular with Ektar100 film.

What's To Come...

A couple of weeks ago ;]... Erica, Trevor, Greg, and I met up with Connor Lyon to surf some epic barrels up North.
Super happy that the weather and waves held up long enough to get a full day of surfing in.

Skating in Brea

Greg and I drove out to Brea to meet Erica and her family for a Christmas dinner.
While we were waiting for the food to cook, we decided to take our skateboards and go explore the neighborhood.

Blackies Christmas Eve

Greg, Trevor, and I woke up a little before the sunrise this morning to catch what's left of the swell that hit yesterday.
Everybody and their brother was out today making it tougher to catch what little waves actually came through...

50 mm

My wonderful girlfriend, Erica, got me this fixed 50 mm lens.
I'm really excited to shoot with it more. The colors it takes in are really cool and give the photos a sort of older look.
Here's one of the first shots I took with it.

No Wifi :(

The WiFi at my house has been really spotty, aka no Internet...
So I apologize in advance for the sparse blog posts.
But anyways, the weather finally cleared up after a week and a half of constant rain!
Greg, Trevor, and I headed up to West Newport to get in the oh so dirty water.
We ended up scoring some pretty decent size waves... Echo Beach bro
