Another segment from the trip to Santa Barbara to pick Erica's board up. We decided to keep searching for waves since Malibu sucked, and we found this little gem. Right off of PCH, under the watchful eye of an American Apparel store.

Motel Room 1:00 AM... Malibu 5:00 AM

On our last trip up to Santa Barbara, Erica, Trevor, and I picked up Erica's board, had some Hawaiian food downtown, then watched Killers until Midnight. We wanted to surf Malibu at dawn, but didn't want to drive back up, so we got a room at some motel in Calabasas. We fell asleep at 1:00 AM and left the motel room at 4:30 AM. Malibu was crappy and blown out, so we drove down a little ways to a isolated point with only 3 guys out...

My nights are wonderful

Last night Trevor, Erica, and I all met up with Christina at the Del Mar Fair. Christina works at a wallet booth down there and hooked us up with free tickets, so we drove down and walked around together. A really fun night with some of my favorite people!

Quick Fix

How to... turn your old winter wetsuit into a beautiful new spring suit! By Alex and Erica! We decided to take Erica's old O'neill suit and modify it into a long arm/short leg spring suit. We had to cut just above the knee, fold it over, and glue it with rubber cement. Truthfully, Erica did most of the work. I just stood there and held the blowdryer when she needed me to.
Items needed:
1 Rubber Cement ($5 from Home Depot)
1 Blow dryer
1 Old wetsuit
2-3 Safety pins to hold the folds in the legs in place
1 Beautiful girlfriend calling the shots
And... Bingo Bango Bongo. New spring suit: TPO style.

Comedy

Trevor, Alyssa, Erica, and I embarked on a journey through laughter tonight at a Comedy Club in Irvine with some free tickets from Twitter thanks to Trevors Dad. It was pretty interesting, some really funny underground comics performed, Bryan Callen (who played the owner of the little wedding chapel in The Hangover) headlined. I highly recommend attending a comedy show in the near future instead of going to a movie, it's something totally different and you could have as much fun as we did!
